Checking out Vivoo

Vivoo Experiment: Week 1 Update

➡️ Last week, I starting using Vivoo, the at-home urine strip test that gives quick feedback on hydration, electrolytes, and other wellness markers. My results flagged two things:

  • Dehydrated 💧 (no surprise after a busy clinic day with too much coffee and not enough water).

  • Low magnesium 🧂 (this one caught my attention, since magnesium is key for heart rhythm, blood pressure, sleep, and recovery).

⚖️ Disclaimer: I have no financial relationship or any affiliation with Vivoo. This is simply a tool I found on my own and decided to try out of curiosity.

✅ What I’m Doing Next

Instead of just glancing at the results and moving on, I decided to use them as a little experiment:

  • Hydration: I’m being more intentional with fluids — keeping my water bottle nearby at work and adding electrolytes after workouts.

  • Magnesium: I started a magnesium supplement and doubled down on magnesium-rich foods like leafy greens, nuts, seeds, and dark chocolate. 🍫

  • Tracking: I plan to recheck Vivoo tomorrow for a short-term look, and again after a full week of these changes to see if the numbers shift.

👍🏼 Why This Matters

Do I think Vivoo is as accurate as a formal lab test? No. But here’s the thing: sometimes just having a quick, visible reminder is enough to spark action. Instead of ignoring hydration or putting off supplements, I’ve already changed my daily habits.

That’s the real value I’m finding: awareness → action.

🙌🏻 What’s Next

I’ll share an update after a week of consistent hydration and magnesium to see whether Vivoo reflects the changes — and more importantly, whether I feel a difference in my energy, sleep, and recovery.

Stay tuned for Week 2: Recheck Results.
