
About me
Dr. Jennifer A. Cruz is a double board-certified cardiologist in Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine, with subspecialty expertise in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology. She received her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience and Behavior from Columbia University and her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
After studying Neuroscience at Columbia University and completing her medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Cruz trained at some of the nation’s top medical centers, including Lankenau Medical Center, Cooper University Hospital, and NYU Grossman School of Medicine, where she specialized in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology. She has served as both Chief Resident and Chief Cardiology Fellow, as well as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at NYU
In her private practice in New York City, Dr. Cruz focuses on prevention and comprehensive heart health. She offers a full spectrum of services—from echocardiograms and stress testing to advanced imaging referrals—and works closely with each patient to create a personalized plan for heart wellness.
